Organized tours
There are several tour operators taking you to all Eolian islands. You find them in the village of Lipari e.g. at the airfoil harbor.
OBS
Joining organized tours you are bonded to their plans, eg. how long you have on different sites for bath and visits.

Discovering the Lipari and Vulcano
The coasts
I have very good experience of boat tours with Federica Severi on her motorboat. She speaks good English.

Vulcano
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil and come back to Lipari with Libertylines or SIremar in the afternoon or late evening
uYou can rent a scooter or bike to reach the village up on Piano and Gelso.
I recommend to to visit asinobeach where they do excellent pizza baked in wood oven. Their beach is nice for snorkeling.
Beaches: Beside of asinobeach you have also the black beach (sablenoir) on the north side of Vulcano.
You can climb up on the crater from the north side but I highly recommend climbing up on the south side from ValleRoja. I organize this climb with my guests starting summer time at about 17:00 to be on the top at sunset 20:00.
In Vulcano village you have a pool area with thermal water. They have nice showers.
Lipari
Transport: You can make organized tours with Taxi or Ursobus. But I recommend you get the time table of Ursobus.it and do your own tours.
Activity: There are many trekking options on Lipari.
I organize sunset tours with swimming to Vallemuria and Punta Palmento with my guests on request. Check komoot. From September to May my guests are welcome to paticipate in the Greens Eolian treeking group weekend tours.

Filicudi, Salina, Panarea,
Stromboli and Alicudi
To have free time for swimming and visiting the islands, I recommend transfers to the islands with Libertylines and Siremar. Here are suggestions for Filicudi, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli and Alicudi
Salina
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil or Sirmar boat and come back to Lipari in the afternoon/evening.
Activity: T here is a limited bus service in Salina. I recommend you to rent a scooter in Salina (there are electric scooters too on the left of the harbor on the road to Marina.
I recommend visiting Pollara where the film “il postino” was made.
Also a walk up to “Fossa delle felci” is a nice option. “Fossa delle felci”is on the top of the Aeolian island’s highest mountain. OBS it can be covered sometimes by clouds.
Filicudi
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil and come back to Lipari in the afternoon.
Activity: There are good trekking options on Filicudi. Check komoot and “guide routard” book
Panarea
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil and if possible, come back to Lipari in the afternoon.
Activity: I recommend to stay overnight on this island e.g. at the “Oasi” hotel that has warm water pools or Derek’s and Nadia’s “Villa Liberty” with its donkeys near the bay of Cakajunco.
There are good trekking options on Filicudi. Check komoot .
Stromboli
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil and if possible , come back to Lipari in the afternoon with an airfoil from Neaple.
Activity: I recommend to stay overnight also on this island to join an organized volcano eruption experience.
Alicudi
Transport: Take a morning Libertylines airfoil and come back to Lipari with the airfoil from Palermo.
Activity: I recommend staying overnight also on this island to be able to walk up the hundred-step staircase.
