Choice of vessel to Lipari
From Palermo, Reggio and Mesina there are only Libertylines hydrofoils departing. But from Milazzo you can choose a more comfortable solution.
A faster Liberylines hydrofoil or a comfortable ecosustainable Siremar/Caronte boat?
- For adults we strongly recommend you to arrive to Lipari harbor with a Siremar or Caronte boat. It costs maybe a few Euro more but that extra cost is paid back with a much more pleasant sea experience.
With their boats you:
- will be free and able to take a walk or smoke outside
- breath fresh Sea air
- enjoy the view of the seven sisters spproaching
- smell the Vulcano island odor without being infected by others.
For children we recommend Libertylines.
But Liberty(free?)lines hydrofoils have positive ventilation (a bad ventilation that just dilutes other peoples maybe virus contained breath.
We have had people who got infected on the hydrofoils especially on arrivals by not keeping distances.
With liberty-lines hydrofoils the trip takes a shorter time and is a nice experience for small nervous children that must be kept inside and can accept to be quiet an hour on a chair.
but there is no liberty at all during one hour. a time that is a wasted hour of your life doing an seeing nothing .

Booking and buying vessel tikets
- Only with our local Eoltravel group you can rebook with WA. in case you change your mind or risk missing the connection.

Arrival to Lipari
You can enjoy sunset on the sea and arrive to Lipari at any hour, even at midnight with e.g. Caronte boat.
OBSERVE
To be able for us to welcome you at the harbor, it is important that you share with us the name of the Libertylines hydrofoil name or Siremar boat-name and departure from your harbor (Reggio/Messina/Milazzo/Palermo etc.).
Breakfast shopping
Near the harbor is a supermarket (Deco) where you can buy for your next day breakfast to be kept in our fridge. (yogurt etc).
Btw. As you know from our Booking.com info, we do not serve breakfast but we have for you instead free bottle water, coffee for bialetti moka or presso, wine and all kind of tools you need for a good lunch or dinner cook in our shared kitchen.
(You can reach the house in two ways:
- If you are well trained or do not have heavy luggage you can make a 1 km walk 5o meter up on the Santa Margherita south hill. Just look for casasvedese agriturismo on maps and choose direction from Lipari harbor.
- If you stay in casasvedese for at least 5 days and prefer a less requiring transfer you can save time and fatigue with our Sponsored transfer (5 Euro instead of 15 euro)
That transfer will leave you just 40 meters below at the casasvedese parking zone where the landlord will meet you and follow you up to the house.
